Overview

In our Gutenberg block development, we often need common components like post pickers, icon selectors, and other reusable elements. Our friends at 10up have a robust library of useful and well-maintained components that provides many of the features we need. To use it, just npm install the following package: @10up/block-components.

Available Components

The @10up/block-components library provides several useful components for WordPress block development. Here are some examples demonstrated in our demo block:
  • ClipboardButton - A button component that copies text to the clipboard
  • ContentPicker - A versatile picker for WordPress content, supporting:
    • Posts and Pages
    • Users
    • Taxonomy terms
  • IconPicker - Available in three variants:
    • Standard panel picker
    • Toolbar button
    • Inline picker
